Habbakuk Project
The Habbakuk Project was an audacious concept born against the backdrop of World War II, crafted by cunning British strategists. It involved the construction of a groundbreaking aircraft carrier made from ice. This ambitious initiative aimed to tackle the elusive German submarines lurking in the vast Atlantic theater, an area where traditional aircraft carriers had failed. Geoffrey Pyke, a visionary at the Combined Operations Headquarters, was the driving force behind this daring proposal, which eventually led to trials and the creation of a prototype on Patricia Lake in Canada's tranquil Jasper National Park. My own personal experiences during my time in the military in Egypt, from 2016 to 2017, served as a source of inspiration for this military research.
